Department of English

The department of Economics, one of the prestigious departments in the college, started functioning with the inception of the college in recent time. Ever since, it has made giant strides in imparting quality education with good academic results. The department is pledged to bring out the best in students by moulding their character, sharpening their communicative skills and equipping them to face the varied challenges in life.

B.A degree in Economics is the course offered and the current staff strength of the department is six and we have more than hundred students in the department.

Asst. Prof. Vaheeda is the current Head of the department. The department is enriched with experienced faculty members. It has initiated diverse innovative techniques in teaching and learning of Economics like Remedial Coaching, Ignite the Minds programme and has organized various co-curricular and literary programmes.

The alumni Association is a source of support to the Department. It is a matter of great pride that several former students have gained success in various fields and admitted in various government and Aided colleges for their Post-Graduation and other higher studies.
